The other product is termimesh. It is made of stainless steel so termites can not chew through it. The advantage of termimesh is that there are no insecticides involved. It is a simple physical barrier providing protection against any termite penetration.

Granitgard is also another physical termite barrier in Sydney where there are no insecticides involved. It is made of a sandy looking material where termites can not penetrate as the sands are too small for them to tunnel through. They can not move them either as the product is too heavy for them to carry or move.

2) Chemical Barrier

Some homes are built on brick piers and usually there is an access to the subfloor. In these cases Subfloor chemical treatment is an ideal termite barrier against subterranean termites in Sydney.

And finally we sometimes install termite barriers in homes with both subfloor and an extension on slab. In that case the combination of the subfloor termite barrier and perimeter barrier is the best way to protect homes against subterranean termites.
